In this concert organized by violinist Ercan Köktürk, you will listen to the voice of sadness that Farid Farjad, known as "the man who makes the violin cry", cried out to the whole world after the oppression he experienced in his country.

The Iranian musician, who has been playing the violin since the age of 8, completed his master's degree in classical music at the Tehran Conservatory of Music in 1966, and in his next step, he assumed important roles in the Tehran Symphony Orchestra. Farjad, who has a background in Persian Folk Music, has also worked on Classical Western music with the violin. These works have played an important role in the development of Persian music. Farjad has an album series consisting of five albums called Anroozha (Those Days), which he created using only the piano and violin. In addition, two collective albums called Golha Orchestra are among the artist's works. In these albums, Farjad, in his own words, put the sadness in nature into notes. He stated that one of the reasons for his albums to be in this direction was that he was away from his country after the revolution and had to live away from his country.
