Sabahattin Ali's immortal novel Madonna in a Fur Coat is on the Theater Stage in the 5th Season..
Adapted in the repertoire of Istanbul Theatre Group with a 2-year work, he designed the deep dramatic structure of Madonna in a Fur Coat, one of the important works of Sabahattin Ali, one of the respected writers of our country, for the stage and brought it together with the audience. Sometimes in life, our prejudices towards the people in front of our eyes may not give us the opportunity to really know them, we may create ideas that we cannot see or look at incorrectly, and the author throws it in our faces as if to prove that the prejudices people have for each other are actually weaknesses in his novel. And in his lines, he asks, "While we hesitate to comment on the type of cheese we buy for the first time, why can we make such an easy judgment about a person we just met..." and he asks, "Surely all people had a soul, but most of them were not aware of it and would go back to where they came from without realizing it. A soul could only come into being when it found a similar one and without us even needing to consult our minds and calculations. Only then do we truly begin to live, to live with our souls.
