THEMATIC SECTIONS
Siren Rocks
Sirens, who have a special place in Aegean mythology, used to attract sailors passing by with their mysterious voices and interesting songs. Desperate sailors trying to find where the voice came from would get too close to the shore and their ships would crash into the rocks and sink. Many stories are told about this legend on the coastline in Foça, also known as the “Siren Rocks”…
Tropical Seas
Did you know that the Australian Great Barrier Reef is the only living thing visible to the naked eye from space? In the tropical seas section; interesting and entertaining stories from the explorers who investigate this interesting world and the cultures in these remote corners of the world await you.
Shark Lab
Sharks are an extremely popular and interesting species that everyone is extremely curious about. The most interesting information about this species is available on information boards, models and interactive digital screens in the Shark Lab.
Sunken Ship
In the shipwreck invaded by Mediterranean Groupers, you can see colorful fish circling around Kon Tiki's raft through the bronze ship portholes.
Asian Rivers
In Asian culture, water is sacred and some underwater creatures are divine. The interesting legend of the living fossils Sturgeon, Spotted Knife Fish and Koi Fish is in the Asian Rivers section. You can feed Koi Fish (Japanese Carp), the first domesticated underwater creature in the world, with a bottle.
Poles
