Diary of a Madman
Focusing on the life story of a minor civil servant who lived during the dictatorship of Nicholas I, the play tells the story of the main character Poprichin's path towards madness. When the passion he feels for his superior's daughter is added to his oppressive and monotonous life, the chaos he is in grows even bigger. Aksenti Ivanovich Poprichin's efforts to not bow down to the dictatorial system and the psychological traumas he experiences continue until he thinks he is the King of Spain and ends with him being put in a mental hospital.

Today, I had an unforgettable experience at the theater of 'A Madman's Diary'. I wanted to meet the magnificent performances of the actors, the spirit of the stage design and the spirit of the music, but we missed it... it literally took the audience on a journey. The depths of the play and the complexity of the characters took the audience on an emotional journey while making them think. I want to thank the theater team for this amazing experience. It was definitely an unforgettable night.
