The “TIME OF THE GYPSIES EDERLEZİ MUSICAL”, which is an adaptation of the film Time of the Gypsies, directed and written by Emir Kusturica in 1988 and considered a masterpiece by cinema critics, and produced by Kumbara Visual Arts Theatre, continues to meet with its audience.
Living your love with all your purity, with what you have, or gradually losing faith in your purity and life and losing all your loved ones in order to have a rich life?
These are the loves, separations, joys and pains of the gypsies who always lived joyfully in Yugoslavia in the 1980s, but whose sadness we can see in every line of their faces when we look at them;
sometimes making you laugh, sometimes making you sad...
Hatica is a grandmother who has devoted her life to her two grandchildren who lost her daughter and a mother who lives with her son who is always in trouble... The story of Perhan, a grandson who falls in love with all his innocence but hits the road for his brother with his grandmother's decision, turning the white in his heart to black with the dream of becoming rich, and Azra, a young gypsy girl who lost her pure love while trying to reach Hollywood in her dreams...
